My goal in pursuing journalism has always been close to my heart as I hope to give exposure to small, underserved communities and individuals who have made big impacts and contributions to the world. I strive to be an honest and ethical writer and tell stories that otherwise may be lost.

I am currently reporting on the growing Central Texas area and am pursuing a career in radio/television broadcasting.

About Me

I am originally from Taft, Texas, outside of Corpus Christi, and recently graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

I am now located in New Braunfels, Texas, and I love supporting local businesses and listening to live music.

I have worked for a variety of media platforms most recently as a production assistant for the Texas Standard, the daily news show of Texas on KUT 90.5, and for The Austin Chronicle, an alt-weekly independent newspaper.
